College Audition Consulting
Your Partner from Application to Decision
Service Description
Music programs require a two-step application process, one for academic application to the school and another for artistic acceptance into the program. Highly competitive programs require an additional step called a prescreen, which students must pass in order to proceed to an in-person audition. Students must be accepted both academically and artistically in order to attend a program. The average student receives 30 hours of one-on-one coaching, consulting, and audition preparation from the start to the end of their process, typically spread across a 6-12-month period. Students' level of audition preparation significantly influences admissions decisions, scholarship opportunities, and long-term academic and career success. We offer consulting hours to guide parents and students throughout this process and prepare them artistically.
